Alibi Rooftop Lounge is the epitome of a colorful and playful rooftop oasis made for everyday fun. My friends and I had the pleasure of visiting this whimsical rooftop bar and restaurant during our holiday trip to Tempe, and we were blown away by the tropical coasts from all around the world that inspired its design.

Located on the 14th floor of the impressive Canopy By Hilton Tempe Downtown, this stylish indoor/outdoor rooftop boasts shaded cabanas and lounge-style seating that provides a relaxing atmosphere. The glittering rooftop pool and panoramic views over Tempe and the mountains were breathtaking, making our experience even more enjoyable.

To our surprise, we learned that enjoying swims with a view in the rooftop pool required us to stay at the hotel or reserve a cabana/buy a day pass. However, anyone could drink and dine with a view at Alibi Rooftop Lounge. The rooftop menu includes crafted specialty cocktails, a vast selection of craft beers and wines, as well as globally-inspired street food dishes that tantalize the taste buds.

What impressed us the most about this rooftop lounge was its great and friendly vibe, which made us feel like we were on vacation without leaving the city. The opening hours on Fridays and Saturdays, from 11.00 – 02.00, made it the perfect spot to unwind after a long day exploring Tempe’s numerous attractions.
