The One&Only Royal Mirage Resort in Dubai is an exceptional hotel that boasts a private beachfront with stunning views of The Palm Island Bay. My Tinder date and I were impressed with DRIFT Beach Club, which is one of the best beach clubs in Dubai. However, what really caught our attention was The Rooftop Terrace & Sports Lounge located on the 3rd floor of the hotel.

The moment we entered, we were transported to a different world. The stylish majlis and the mosaic tables, along with the embroidered cushions and candles, created an exotic atmosphere that we couldn’t resist. The open-air terrace provided breathtaking views of the ocean and the Dubai skyline, which we both found extremely romantic and cozy.

We ordered champagne, classic cocktails, and cigars from the extensive menu, and nibbled on tasty Arabic mezzehs while enjoying the calm ambiance of the rooftop. The circular bar displaying live sports events inside was a pleasant surprise, and my date especially appreciated it.

We noticed that the Rooftop Terrace & Sports Lounge provides reservations for parties of more than 10 guests, but we were able to walk-in as first come, first served guests. The opening hours on Fridays and Saturdays are from 17.00 – 01.00.

Overall, we highly recommend The Rooftop Terrace & Sports Lounge for an intimate and charming evening out. The combination of the rooftop bar and sports lounge provides a unique experience that you won’t find anywhere else in Dubai. The One&Only Royal Mirage is truly one of the most exceptional hotels in the city, and we can’t wait to visit again.
