What to wear for Cherry on the Rooftop in Beirut? Dress Code for men and women

Cherry on the Rooftop is a buzzing summer hot-spot that draws in the spirit of the Mediterranean. As soon as my best friends and I arrived at this comfy cocktail bar and pool lounge located on top of the fantastic five-star hotel Le Gray, we knew that we were in for a treat. The stunning views over both the Mediterranean and the Beirut skyline left us breathless.

During the daytime, we enjoyed the fantastic rooftop pool and relaxed in the comfy sun loungers. The terrace was a pool lounge for guests at the hotel and Gray-memebers, making it an exclusive and sophisticated experience. As the sun went down, the terrace transformed into a stylish cocktail lounge with relaxing lounge vibes during weekdays and a more vibrant atmosphere towards the weekend.

The bar at Cherry on the Rooftop served perfectly crafted cocktails, and we were amazed by the bartender creations and classics that were expertly topped with champagne. We indulged in the bar bites and full sushi menu, which were mouth-wateringly delicious. The rooftop bar was a great place for an elegant and relaxing evening, and we enjoyed the soft DJ beats with more animated sounds over the weekend.

During winter (October – April), when Cherry on the Rooftop was closed, we visited the indoor bar at Le Gray named Bar ThreeSixty. The sky bar had breathtaking panoramic views of Beirut, and it was an extraordinary experience that we will never forget.

We were thoroughly impressed with the fantastic hotel’s offerings, as on the other side of the 6th floor, we discovered Indigo on the Roof. The Mediterranean inspired fine dining rooftop restaurant served both breakfast, lunch, and dinner year-round, and in the summer on a beautiful terrace. The opening hours on Fridays and Saturdays were from 18.00 – 02.00.

Overall, Cherry on the Rooftop was an unforgettable experience that we would recommend to anyone seeking a luxurious and sophisticated atmosphere. We loved everything about this rooftop bar, and we cannot wait to come back soon.

How to Dress for a Chic Evening at Cherry on the Rooftop

When it comes to dressing up for an evening at Cherry on the Rooftop, comfort and style should be on the top of your list. As a fashion expert, I recommend women to dress up in a flowy sundress or a sophisticated jumpsuit paired with strappy sandals or wedges for a chic summer look. Men can opt for a crisp linen shirt paired with tailored shorts or chinos and suede loafers for a smart casual look.

To complete the look, accessorize with statement jewelry for women and a stylish watch for men. For women, a pair of oversized sunglasses and a straw tote bag would add a touch of glamour to their outfit. Men can accessorize with a leather belt and a classic fedora hat.

When it comes to brands, I recommend women to check out Zimmermann, Alice + Olivia or Self-Portrait for elegant summer dresses and jumpsuits. For men, Ted Baker, Bonobos or J.Crew have a great selection of smart casual clothing.
