As soon as I arrived at Hotel Aston La Scala, I knew that I was in for a posh and sophisticated experience. The rooftop terrace boasts one of the most breathtaking views of the city of Nice and the Mediterranean that I have ever seen, with its 360-degree panoramic views. The rooftop swimming pool, sun loungers, and the rooftop bar, Moon Bar, are all exclusive to hotel guests, but the bar is open to all. I met my Tinder date at Moon Bar, and I was not disappointed.

The ambience of Moon Bar is vibrant yet sophisticated, and the professional and friendly staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We opted for a table with a view, and we were blown away by the stunning views of Promenade du Paillon, the old town, the famous Massena Square, and the sea. We started with delicious Mediterranean food and then moved on to their original cocktails from the bar. The presentation of the cocktails was stunning, and the flavors were exceptional.

What really brought the night to life was the live music. We were lucky enough to visit on a Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and each night there was a different band that brought the energy and kept the crowd dancing all night long. The length of the night flew by, and before we knew it, the Moon Bar was closing. However, we weren’t ready to call it a night just yet, so we headed down to The ASTON Club, located on the 7th floor, which is open year-round. Although it doesn’t offer the same outdoor experience as Moon Bar, The ASTON Club boasts the same panoramic views and the same delicious cocktails.

Overall, the experience at Hotel Aston La Scala was exceptional. From the stunning views to the vibrant atmosphere to the exceptional service, everything exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend this rooftop bar and lounge to anyone looking for a sophisticated and unforgettable evening in Nice.
