My sister and I recently visited Villa Amazónica Hotel, Restaurante & Rooftop and we were blown away by the vibrant atmosphere of this boutique hotel. The former Gatto Blanco Party Hotel has undergone a complete rebranding, adding a modern touch to the already existing vibes.

Located in Casco Viejo and just footsteps away from Panama City’s Cathedral, this hotel is the perfect place to stay if you want to be in the heart of the action. But even if you don’t stay here, make sure to visit the terrace for some incredible views of Panama City’s skyline and Casco Viejo.

The Villa Amazónica Rooftop bar has a fantastic selection of tropical cocktails and spirits that are perfectly complemented by their global bites menu. From empanadas to burgers and even pasta dishes, there is something for everyone.

One of the highlights of our visit was the resident DJs and guests from all over the world, who played a live electronic music that kept the party going well into the wee hours. The rooftop bar truly lives up to its name as a club, and we highly recommend visiting on Fridays and Saturdays when the terrace is open from 18.00 – late.
