My boyfriend and I recently had the pleasure of spending a weekend at the Executive Enclave hotel in Bandra, western Mumbai, and we were blown away by the Speakeasy rooftop bar. After major renovations in 2020, the rooftop has been re-branded from Cafe Terra to Veranda Rooftop, and it is more stylish than ever. The 7th floor terrace is also environmentally friendly with solar panels installed. The lush and intimate rooftop is nestled among the surrounding buildings, and we felt transported to Toscana or a quaint Spanish town.

One of the highlights of Veranda Rooftop is the fresh and seasonal selection of global dishes. We enjoyed everything from pizza and Mediterranean tapas to dumplings and buns. The curated list of unique and crafted cocktails and extensive wine list were also impressive. My boyfriend was particularly impressed with the cocktail selection and commented that they were some of the best he’s ever had.

The genuine atmosphere and relaxing vibe of Veranda Rooftop made it a great spot for anything from a pre-drinking session with friends to a romantic dinner date. We visited on a Friday night and were delighted to find that the opening hours were from 16.00 – 01.00.

If you’re looking for a bougie getaway, we highly recommend the Executive Enclave hotel and Veranda Rooftop. The speakeasy rooftop bar exceeded our expectations and we can’t wait to return.
