My best friends and I recently had the pleasure of visiting this elegant beachside rooftop bar and were blown away by its stunning views stretching to the horizon. The modern and beautiful Anantara Layan Phuket Resort, where the bar is located, is just a 2-minute walk from Layan Beach, making it the perfect destination for a dreamy beach vacation.

Upon arriving, we were greeted with the venue’s branding slogan of ‘Three levels. One destination’. The ground floor features Breeze, a beachfront pool bar where we sipped on tropical concoctions and indulged in all-day snacking on playful succulent dishes while relaxing in sun loungers. We then made our way up to Zuma, a world-renowned and multi-award-winning restaurant that offers modern Japanese izakaya flavours in a great ambiance.

But the real highlight of our night was ascending to The Rooftop, where we were met with comfy lounge spots, cabanas, a stylish bar and edge water features on the wooden decked terrace. The panoramic views that stretched over the ocean and to the horizon were absolutely breathtaking, and we couldn’t help but feel like we were living the high life. Whether you’re looking to enjoy enchanted sunsets or dimly lit evenings under the stars, this prime spot is the perfect place to do so.

The Rooftop’s well-stocked bar was one of the standout features of our experience, and we highly recommend trying their crafted signature cocktails, premium spirits, cigars or something from their impressive selection of wines. The natural yet luxurious vibe of the rooftop bar made our night one to remember, and we highly suggest making it a combo with dinner at Zuma or a full day at Breeze. Just remember to make reservations before you visit!

My friends and I were delighted to learn that The Rooftop also hosts weekly Beepop Wednesday’s, and we definitely plan on returning to experience the lively event.
