Last weekend, I had the pleasure of attending a birthday celebration at Sugar, a sleek and modern rooftop lounge boasting dazzling views of Kowloon Bay and the stunning skyline. Located on the 32nd floor of the East Hong Kong hotel, Sugar is a stylish and elegant bar and cocktail lounge that offers a unique perspective of the city.
As we stepped out of the elevator and into the lounge, we were met with floor-to-ceiling windows that led out to the spacious rooftop terrace. The view was absolutely magical and we spent hours just taking in the breathtaking sights from the comfort of our lounge sofas and bar stools by the edge.
The rooftop bar serves international tapas and a great selection of classic and signature cocktails, created by award-winning bartenders. The drinks were expertly crafted and we couldn’t help but rave about how delicious they were. The atmosphere was perfect for unwinding and enjoying soft lounge vibes with a resident DJ, friendly service, and ambience.
The Sugar rooftop lounge is the perfect spot in Hong Kong for sunset views and relaxing drinks. Despite its popularity, the outskirt of city placement and high altitude meant that we didn’t have to deal with an over-crowded space. However, we did have to wait a bit for a table at the terrace as it is a popular place.
Overall, our experience at Sugar was top-notch. The views were simply stunning, the drinks were expertly crafted, and the atmosphere was sophisticated and elegant. We highly recommend booking your stay at the East Hong Kong hotel to enjoy not only Sugar rooftop, but also a large 4th floor pool with cool views and an amazing breakfast.
