The decor and furniture on the terrace were modern and sleek, with comfortable wicker furniture and a really cool sculptural bar as the main feature. The reflections of the view from the bar were nothing short of spectacular, adding a touch of glamour and sophistication to the overall experience.
But what truly elevated the experience was the innovative cocktail menu that Smoke & Mirrors offered. Every creation was well-crafted and visually stunning, making it hard for us to choose just one. We also indulged in a wide selection of fine champagne & wines, as well as tasty light bites and sharing plates.
Each of my friends had their own highlights from our visit. One of them loved the creative pre- or after dinner cocktails, while another recommended visiting during the F1 Grand Prix weekend, as Smoke & Mirrors becomes one of the top spots to catch the race from. The rest of us were impressed with the overall ambiance and sophistication of the bar, making it a must-visit spot for anyone wandering the National Gallery.
The only downside was that the rooftop is popular and not huge, so we highly recommend making reservations in advance. It is also worth checking the availability before visiting, as it sometimes gets booked for private events.
