My boyfriend and I recently visited Chill SkyBar during our weekend getaway in Ho Chi Minh City and were blown away by the spectacular views of the Saigon skyline. This stylish and vibrant rooftop bar, located on the 26th floor of the AB Tower, offers perhaps the best rooftop experience in the city.
The terrace is modernly furnished with standing tables and an iconic glowing bar in the center. The drinks menu features well-crafted classic and signature cocktails, beers, and a great selection of wine and bubbles, all of which we thoroughly enjoyed. The bar bites were also a hit, especially the sliders and tapas board.
One thing my boyfriend particularly loved about Chill SkyBar was the different settings it offers depending on the time of day. Early on, the rooftop offers great lounge vibes and a fantastic sunset, while later in the night it turns into a lively party scene with live DJs and dancing under the Saigon night sky.
The indoor restaurant, VIGOR Dining Club, is also worth checking out. The steak and seafood dishes were top-notch, and the romantic setting with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the skyline was a nice touch.
I do want to mention that Chill SkyBar is a popular spot, so reservations are highly recommended or plan to arrive early. And be sure to dress to impress, as the dress code is smart casual. The opening hours on Fridays and Saturdays are from 5:30 pm to 2:00 am.
Overall, Chill SkyBar is a must-visit spot in Ho Chi Minh City. The views are breathtaking, the drinks and food are fantastic, and the atmosphere is simply unbeatable. We can’t wait to come back!
