My best friends and I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the Above Eleven Rooftop Bar & Restaurant in Jimbaran, Bali, and we were blown away by the trendy and stylish rooftop garden feel it offered. Sitting atop the stunning Mövenpick Resort & Spa, the bar and restaurant provided us with a breathtaking view of the Bali greenery, Jimbaran Beach, and the Indian Ocean that left us in awe.

One of the highlights of Above Eleven was its unique and culturally diverse cuisine. As the first Peruvian Japanese rooftop bar and restaurant in South East Asia, the menu featured an assortment of Peruvian and Japanese delicacies called ‘Nikkei’ that date back over 120 years to the first wave of Japanese immigration to Peru. We were impressed by the fresh, authentic, and historical cuisine, which we could order as both nibbles and mains. Additionally, there was also an impressive selection of Sushi & Sashimi that we couldn’t resist.

The drinks menu was equally impressive. From a large and central rooftop bar, we were able to order creative and well-made mixology cocktails with Japanese/Peruvian influences that perfectly complimented our meals. We also had the option of choosing something more tropical or a selection of wines.

Above Eleven was more than just a rooftop bar and restaurant. The lively atmosphere was accentuated by nightly live DJs, salsa nights, and other special entertainment line-ups that we thoroughly enjoyed.

We recommend visiting Above Eleven early to enjoy the relaxing sunset cocktails and then sticking around to soak up the luxurious and very relaxing atmosphere. However, do remember that smart casual attire is required, so leave the singlets and swimwear at home. Above Eleven is open daily from 4 pm, and on Fridays and Saturdays, it stays open till late.
