Last weekend, I had the pleasure of celebrating my best friend’s birthday at 1-Altitude, the highest rooftop bar in Singapore. Upon arriving, I was immediately struck by the awe-inspiring views of the city and ocean from the 63rd floor of One Raffles Place. It’s no wonder this is the highest al fresco bar in the world.
This multi-destination venue is truly impressive, with Altimate, a chic nightclub, on level 61 and Stellar, a fine dining restaurant on level 62. We were there for the al fresco and rooftop bar on level 63, also known as Gallery & Bar. The daytime experience is an opportunity to enjoy the picturesque views for a fee of $25. However, the nighttime experience is a whole different story.
The rooftop bar is buzzing with an electric atmosphere, live music, and a DJ. My friends and I were impressed with the wide selection of drinks, including champagne cocktails, Japanese whiskey, party bombs, and martinis. We also enjoyed light bites, sharing platters, and pizza from the pizza bar.
The Sundown Affair is a great time to come and enjoy the sunset with a more relaxed vibe. If you’re looking for a seat on the lounge sofas, be sure to come early. Later on, reservations are likely needed, or you can find a place at the bar or by the edge to appreciate the panoramic views. It’s also a great place to hit the dancefloor and dance the night away.
Overall, the birthday celebration at 1-Altitude was unforgettable. The height of sophistication and luxury was elevated by the stunning panoramic views and electric atmosphere. I can’t wait to go back to this amazing venue.
